Which Tacoma Bed Rack Can Carry a Roof Tent While Keeping a Factory Tri-Fold Cover?

Choose a rack system that claims compatibility with your cover architecture and names its dynamic and static capacity. TRUKD states 300 lb dynamic and 1,000 lb static capacity for its T Series, and describes tri-fold/retractable-cover mounting options; confirm the selected Tacoma mount and cover with the maker before purchase. Buy the documented rack-cover combination, not a rack that merely appears to leave room above the bed. If your factory hard tri-fold is not named by the rack maker, either get written confirmation for that exact cover or choose a documented alternative such as a compatible T-slot cover system.
